Katie has over 10 years’ experience in the protection industry with an actuarial career starting at Swiss Re and previous roles across technical marketing and distribution with Vitality. In 2019 she launched Tabei, a consultancy firm which supports providers with proposition development, actuarial services, marketing and communications. Katie is also co-chair of the Income Protection Task Force (IPTF) which works with all major insurers, reinsurers, service providers and distributors to grow the income protection market. Outside the day job, Katie is hugely passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion, and in 2019 launched the Risky Mix podcast where she speaks to inspirational business leaders, rising stars and the people who are really going above and beyond to change the mix in the insurance industry.
