Katie has over 15 years’ experience in the protection industry with an actuarial career starting at Swiss Re and previous roles across technical marketing and distribution with Vitality. In 2019 she launched Tabei, a consultancy firm which supports providers with proposition development, actuarial services, marketing and communications. Katie was previously co-chair of the Income Protection Task Force (IPTF), a trade body which works with all major insurers, reinsurers, service providers and distributors to grow the income protection market. Alongside her consultancy work, Katie provides next gen actuarial software to the UK protection market with an aim of transforming processes such as insurance pricing and driving significant operational savings for providers.
